Our Mission
Contrast Wellness is committed to providing our clients with the highest-quality contrast therapy services in a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment.
Our mission is to help our clients achieve optimal health and wellness through the use of hot and cold therapies that improve circulation, reduce inflammation, promote stress relief and enhance recovery. We strive to educate our clients about the benefits of contrast therapy and empower them to take control of their health and well-being.
There has been a lack of recovery options and accessibility in our communities for athletes that are not considered a “Pro”. We believe that this needs to change and find this as an opportunity to build a space where the average person can come to recover. Recovery is key for optimal performance, and the quicker you can get back to your peak, the better. No matter what sport or activity you might be doing.
We care about Mental Health in our community. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of mental health and self-care. We are consumed in our everyday life with external stressors that can sometimes drown our minds. According to a scientific brief released by the World Health Organization, global prevalence of Anxiety and Depression increased by a massive 25% since the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mental Health is now only recently coming to the forefront as a new generation waves in. Your mental state affects how you perceive the world around you and how you ultimately view yourself. At the end of the day, we are human, and we are trying our best. At Contrast Wellness we strive to be a stepping stone of your Mental Wellness journey.
“Dear shame and doubt
I hold a knowing that is deeper than what’s palpable
And although you seem to protect me from pain unimaginable
I know there’s more meaning in you
It’s slowly becoming legible
I’m here to refine my heart’s vocabulary
To see what hurts more clearly
So I can perceive this pain as my own treasure and healing
I’m here to stay with myself
To hold myself close
I’m here to practice courage and quietly let go
Of righteousness, hurtfulness, doubt, complacency”
